I have recently learned that my name at birth was Gary De Masco‚ and my birth mother was Carol De Masco. She was 31 when I was born in 1956 (and living at 110 Columbia Street in New York City). My original (pre-adoption) birth certificate indicates I had one living sibling at the time of my birth (October 27‚ 1956). A newspaper article l read from June 1960 indicates Carol was a mother of two. There was no data for my father listed on my original birth certificate. Although I am unsure‚ I would assume my birth parents are no longer living (I am 67). I would like to find our more about my birth family‚ and perhaps connect with siblings‚ aunts‚ uncles and others.
