I only recently learned of her existence‚ as this information was kept from me by my family for many years. Unfortunately‚ I do not know her birth mother's name. I have been told there was a photograph of the mother‚ who reportedly had long blonde hair. My understanding is that both parents were teenagers at the time‚ and the baby was placed for adoption shortly after birth. I was told the baby was called "Jenny‚" although I do not know whether that was her legal name‚ a nickname‚ or simply what my family called her before the adoption. My father was of Italian/Sicilian descent. The adoption took place in New York‚ and locations that may be relevant include Brooklyn‚ Kings County‚ and West Hempstead.
