Hi, my name is Caitlin. I was adopted by 2 wonderful parents who had a 6 year old son. My birth certificate says I was born 09/30/1987 and my adoption certificate says the adoption paperwork was finalized 11/01/1988. I believe the adoption took place in Rochester, NY where I was raised. I think the adoption may have been through Catholic Families. I recently took a DNA test and found that I am mostly Irish/Scottish/Welsh and Eastern European. The closest surname that has popped up (as a possible 1st Cousin) is McMillan, but I do not know if this is from the maternal or paternal side.
