I am helping my father Donald Matthew Klang (adopted last name) to find his biological family‚ specifically his birth mother. Donald’s biological last name from his original birth certificate is‚ "Nystrom". Donald was placed in the Angel Guardian Nursery in Brooklyn New York on 4/17/59. Donald resided at this facility until 10/21/59 when he was placed with a Foster Family on Long Island (Teresa and James Walsh). Donald stayed with the foster family until the age of 8 years old. He was adopted on 2/13/67 by Viola and Felix Klang. Donalds birth mothers name per his original birth certificate was Maureen O'Hara. She was born in 1940 and of Irish descent‚ she had a sister born in 1943. Her sister had a daughter in November 1959. Donalds biological mother‚ according to Angel Guardian‚ visited him many times‚ planned for him to live with her until her new husband decided against it after they suffered a miscarriage. His biological mother had a child in 1961 with her new husband. His father acknowledged paternity‚ his name was Donald Nystrom. Donalds DNA is on ancestry.com as is mine‚ his eldest daughter Jennifer Klang. Thank you kindly !!!
