I am looking for my sister. My mom told me she had a baby girl that was put up for adoption at birth. She gave her the name Vicki Lynn. My mom’s name could have been listed as Dorothy Coon or Dorothy Knight on the Birth Certificate. My mom was born in 1922. I am unclear as to whether my sister was born in February or April in 1956. My cousin wrote in her book of births that Vicki was born on February 4, 1956 but told me Vicki was born in April. I have no information on what hospital she was born in or when she was adopted. I also don’t know if her name was changed during the adoption. My mom lived in rural area outside of Rochester, NY when Vicki was born.
