I am the younger brother of a woman that was adopted by my parents in the early part of 1965. The birth date of my sister is December 29, 1964. From what I have been told by my mother, the only information she had was that the birth mother was from somewhere near Rye, New York, and she was a teenager at the time of pregnancy. It was believed that the birth mother was a cheerleader, and the birth father was a basketball player. My sister has known she was adopted since she was very young, and at around the age of 18 she tried to find her birth parents without success.
