I’m searching for my husband’s birth parents. He was born May 9, 1956 in Peekskill, NY. His mother was 26 and father 31. They were married but separated and planning to divorce, which is the reason he was given up for adoption. He has two siblings born prior to his birth. His father’s occupation was listed as “Air Force” and religion as Jewish. Nothing specific about mother is known. This was a private adoption, arranged through a mutual party/friend, possibly in the Mt Vernon, NY, as this is where his adoptive mother grew up. He was adopted by Katherine & Gwen (Bob) McConnell
