I am 60. My mother Nancy Phillips Shanahan had a daughter before I was born. She was originally from Dedham‚ Ma. She went to Wheaton college and Barnard college. The fathers name is Roger Freedman (???) and he may have been from New York. My mother never got over giving her baby away and it dramatically effected her life‚ mental health‚ and relationships. Years ago‚ she had told me that she found my sister and her name was Joan. My mother has now passed and I may be too late but I am hopeful I can make a connection. I live in MA and am an only child.
