My grandfather Charles F Strub Sr was adopted by Cayetano and Lisa Alfonso. His biological mother was Lizzie (possibly Elizabeth) Bour. She had him out of wed lock with we believe (Albert Reyheuser) is per his baptismal certificate. His birth announcement for Manhattan in 1916 say Charles F Bour. When the Alphonso’s died he was adopted by Robert and Julia Strub. Our last name is Strub but we are trying to find out who our Poppy’s real father was and more about our family.
