My mother had ten children, five of which were given up for adoption. I have been able to locate three of the five that were adopted but they are all under eighteen at the moment, and I do not wish to disrupt the life the adoptive parents have created for them. However, the brother I am searching for is now is twenty-two years old. The adoption was done through Advocates for Adoption in New York, but he was born in Lafayette, LA on 9/9/1998, and given the name Jordan Avery Gold by his new adoptive parents from New York. He is the only one of my adoptive siblings that we never received updates on. I heard a rumor that the couple that originally adopted him, changed their mind and returned him to the adoption agency in New York (Advocates for Adoption). My other took her own life back in 2011, therefore I am unable to ask her for any more information. My father is still alive but he knows very little.
