I am looking for my daughter‚ Danielle Grover‚ was her birth name. She was born 8/4/1975 and placed for adoption with a Catholic family. I sent a green scapular to her adopted family so she would know I would always pray for her. Her birth occurred at St Charles Hospital‚ Port Jefferson‚ NY. It was a closed adoption through Nassau County Social Services and I told them to send her to her adopting parents after 1 month‚ not the longer time which was offered as I wanted her settled with her new family ASAP and not waste time in foster care. I am married and have had several more children. My family all know you exist and we all wish you the best. If you prefer to leave things as they are‚ you have a right to that choice. But if you would also like to re-connect‚ then we can do so‚ little by little to make sure everyone is comfortable with it.
