I was born in Syracuse NY and named Thomas Mark Cochran. I was in foster care for a few months and then adopted at 4 months old. My father was born in born in 1926 in Iran of Assyrian descent. I have found out who he was. My mother was born in 1931 in Iran‚ came to the US during her pre-teen years‚ attended boarding school and graduated college with a degree in sociology. She had me at age 24. Her father was born in 1894 in Iran of English ancestry. He had a MD degree‚ and 4 siblings (3 brothers and one sister). Her mother was born in 1893 and was of Scottish/English descent. She was a college graduate and did missionary work in Iran.
