i am a male, born on 3-3-1962 in Albany, NY. I do not know how old I was when I was placed in foster care. I was around the age of 2-3, when I came to live with my foster family that eventually adopted me on 10-13-1970 age the age of 8. I do not know the real story behind my early years, as I have been told many things by my adopted family. I may have been left in a bar with a note that said, "please take care of my son", I was told I was left wearing only a diaper made from a hand towel". My last name when placed in foster care possibly was Greco/Grecco?. I have been told also that I had other brothers/sisters that had already been removed from the home. I was in the Department of Social Services I believe. I was told I was in several foster homes before coming to live in the Moaks’ home as a toddler. I was told they could not locate my mother, so they had to wait the 7 year period, to establish abandonment before they could adopt me. My adoption date was 10-13-1970 in Albany county. The judge that signed my adoption papers was Judge John J. McCall. The Chief Clerk of the Surrogate’s Court of Albany County was Gerald F. Finn, Jr. I am hoping to find out any information I can.
