My son was born “David Lee Gottschalk” in Tulsa Oklahoma, on May 27, 1984. Birth parents were David and Linda Gottschalk, now Johnson. I think he was adopted in white plains family court in NY BUT could also be in NJ area. He was given up around 6 months. The attorney handling the case was Lucile Rosenstock. Since closed adoptions entailed lots of misinformation communicated to both adoptive families as well as to birth families, do not be discouraged if the date or month of birth may be off, as well as if you were possibly adopted into a state other thanNY/NJ since adoption attorneys in the 80s were notorious for lying to birth mothers about such material facts. Lucile rosenstock was also known to handle adoptions in Florida as well, so there is a slight chance my son went to the sunshine state too!
