Searching for my mother’s birth family My mother was born March 1‚ 1929 in Albany‚ NY in the Brady Maternity home for unwed mothers. What we were told was that her birth mother was born about 1904 in Vermont of Irish parents‚ Catholic and at the time of my mothers birth was living and working in Albany‚ NY. We have some information to indicate the birth’s mother’s surname was McBride Non-identifying information is that the father was likely English (at least we were told he had an English sounding name)
