The adoption took place in New York within a few days of your birth. We ( the bio parents) had to drive into New York for legal reasons to have the adoption done. It was finalized a few months later. We were very young 15 and 16, not sure if father’s name was on original birth certificate as we don’t remember filling out any paperwork for the original birth certificate, may say baby girl. Your actual birth was at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT but I have a feeling that since the legal paperwork was done in New York your birth certificate may read New York. Do any of the following names mean anything Smith, Michael ( may have been attorneys first name) Carr, Karr, Kerr ( or something that sounds like that) or steven mean anything ?
