My son was born at Crouse Irving Hospital in the city of Syracuse. The attending OB/GYNs name may have been Dr Gillespie (?). My son was placed in adoption as a newborn from the hospital. His adoption went through Onondaga County Social Services. I am unsure of the birthdate but know it was the beginning of Sept. I never received any documents about the adoption except for a letter I received from the adoption counselor who wrote that my son was placed in a loving home. I had turned 16 the month before my son was born. My son’s father was also young and was not involved during my pregnancy. My father had passed away the year before but my mother‚ Joan Cameron‚ was by my side throughout my pregnancy and at my side when my son was born. We were living outside of in Syracuse in West Genesee but had sold our home to move to Bellingham‚ Washington. I have wanted to respect my son’s life and not intrude in his family. I am now quite a bit older and would welcome the opportunity to meet and answer any questions he may have.
