My name is Jessica Mourani (maiden name is Schwartzmeyer), I am looking for my brother who was given up for adoption by my mother by force of very strict catholic parents who sent her to the Maria Garetti home for unwed mothers in Lackawanna NY for the entirety of her pregnancy. I know the adoption was done through Catholic Charities on November 11th 1971 at Our Lady of Victory hospital in Buffalo NY. My mother who’s name is Mary Katherine Schwartzmeyer (maiden name is Mary Katherine Sacca) has always called him Adam, of course, I dont know what his name is now. I believe she signed a NO CONTACT order which is why shes scared to look for him herself. It has torn her apart everyday of her life and she would love to meet him but is scared he wont want the same. That would break her heart all over again even though she completely understands why he might not want to. I would like to know if he would, so to save her more heart break im doing this for her. We aren’t holding any expectations, mostly we want to know he is ok and if he has any questions or actually wants to know us. Either way we just want him to know the door is always open.
