I was born at Springer Hospital in the Town of Union in Broome Co. on 12/14/48. It was a geriatric home & a home for unwed mothers. Everything was not above board there. My birth name was Mary Jane Grace but that may have been altered. There’s a lot of secrecy surrounding my birth‚ adoption‚ etc. The Dr who delivered me was Dr. Mary Ross & it was a private adoption. My adoptive parents picked me up within 3 days of my birth. My non-identifying info said by birth mother was in her mid-30s & may have been Protestant. That’s it. That’s all it said. Carol Burdick
