My half sister was born at the old General Hospital in Rochester N.Y. on May 4th 1951. She was adopted out from Monroe county DSS. Adopted parents named her (C) Katherine. The workers name was Sweeny. She was given the same day she was born. My mother has pined for her for years. So has the rest of the family. She has one full blood sister and 3 half sisters and one brother. Her biological parents were never put on the birth certificate. That’s all I know. Our mothers name was Jane F. Hough. Her biological father was John Carey.
