My mother‚ Dorothy Rose Turesky was born on March 14‚ 1922 In Binghamton NY to Helen Turesky. On April 15 1922 she was taken to St. Josephs Infant Home. She was put into foster home of Charles and Loretta Case in October 1922‚ and they adopted her on Oct. 20‚ 1924 through Catholic Charities. My mom did not have a birth certificate and there was some question that the spelling of her birth mother’s name may not be exact. My mother died in 2001 and my siblings and children are interested in finding family and about our ancestry.
