the grand mothers name was Isabelle Babette.(maiden name-Schmitz)=born in 1926 Was married at the time, 23, her husband was in service. during pregnancy, I believe he left her, so the baby girl was put up for adoption. Born at Brooklyn Jewish Hopsital at birth I am guessing. I have notes of Dr George Followay and Dr Al Iason. Not sure what these meant. most information was passed down to me from my uncle before he died, so not alot to go on. And apparently my great great grandfather was some higher up at the hospital so this was a hush hush adoption.
