All 8 of us kids were removed from the rented home in Brooklyn, NY and placed in foster care. I was 10 or 11 at the time. My four youngest siblings (1 thru 5 yrs old) were in the same foster home together and later adopted by the same foster parents. The adoption was handled out of Mineola, NY. I have not seen Jeanmarie, John, Vincent and Veronic in 50 plus years. I know all four of them were adopted by the same family. I,m the oldest and was watching all of them when the authorities came and removed us.
