I’m looking for my Grandfather, his name was Louis Billings , he was born in Greece on September 2, 1897 or 1898 he passed away on January 2, 1963 in Whittier California. He was adopted by the Billings family , do not know when. I know he ran away from Greece when he was 8 years old and stowed away on boat to New York, his family was really poor. 90% Positive his last name in Greece was Popadopolus. His Daughter Betty Billings (Macis) born May 14 , 1925 passed away on January 2 , 2013 exactly 50 years to the day my Grandfather passed. I have been searching over the last 15 years for this info.
