Hello, I was adopted through the state of New York. My birth parents lived in Jamestown New York and I think I may have been born in Batavia New York, but don’t know that for certain. I was told that both my birth parents worked for Kodak in Rochester NY. In my non-identifying info provided by the state, it said that my maternal grandmother suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. I was told that my birth mother gave me up because she had to care for my grandmother who lived with her.I recently did a 23 and Me test which revealed that I am half Irish and half English. I realize that my birth parents are likely deceased, so I am searching for siblings or other family members.
