Not sure if an adoption even happened, but trying this route since I can’t locate a death certificate. My dad’s birth certificate says that his mother had "2" living children, born 03/17/32. My dad was always told his twin sister was stillborn. Given the era, and the financial status of his parents, I am now wondering if perhaps they gave her up for adoption. My dad and his twin were born in Greenpoint Hospital, Brooklyn, NY.
