You were born at St. Vincent’s Hospital (now Catholic Medical Center) October 18,1965 at 11:05 p.m. and you weighed 7lbs 9ozs. Your original name was Carl, after our Grandfather, and our mom sent with you a gold cross blessed by the Pope. Our mothers name is Janet Mikkelsen and our dad is Gerald Sarcone. Mom says you were adopted by an Irish family that already had a daughter, but she’s not sure. I am your sister Tracey, and you have a younger brother named James. You have 2 nieces and a nephew. We are all originally from New York, but made the trek out to California because Dad worked in the TV industry (He is also a very proud Recon Marine. Semper Fi!) We have been in Cali since ’83. I want you to know that Mom thinks about you every day. She didn’t want to give you up, but because they weren’t ready for marriage and a family, and the other alternative was absolutely out of the question, she wanted to give you a good life. She cries over you all the time, looks at your pictures, she is still devastated about having to give you up. She hates herself for it. She is almost 77 now, (March 11) and I’m praying Dad will make it to 81. He has Lymphoma. I hope I can find you, not only so you can meet our parents before it’s too late, but also to give you our family medical history so you can pass it on to your family. Wherever you are, I love you, my brother. I always have and I can’t wait to meet you❣
