Upstate New York 1991 November My parents arranged everything through an attorney in Albany NY. I did get to pick the new parents. I never met them in person but I was given written letters & profiles of a few couples. I choose a couple from Berkeley California. I believe they were jewish & one was a professor. I remember thinking if one of them is a professor they must be smart. My goal & hope for my son was to have a loving family that cared enough for him to give him everything I couldn't. I grew up in foster homes and had very poor education which meant I didn't have many choices in life. I didn't want that for him. He looked nobel & smart already. He was calm and his name Alexander John Fitzgerald seemed to fit his little wise face. I wanted my son to be smart and to be able to have control in his life. I hoped and prayed every hour that they had the same values and morals. I prayed that they had the means for him to fulfill his potential in this life. I know he was meant for more than what I could offer. I pray that came true for you my little star. I love you and truly hope your life is filled with wonderful memories and warm loving moments. If you are ever ready to meet please don't hesitate to reach out. I know it's scary but hopefully worth it to know more people out there do love you!
