In 1970, I lived in a home for unwed mothers called St. Faith’s House located on 53 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY. This establishment no longer exists. I gave birth to a baby girl born 11/9/70 in St. John’s Riverside Hospital located in Yonkers, NY. An adoption agency that I believed to have been legitimate was located in Yonkers or somewhere in Westchester , NY but i cannot verify the exact location. I was 16 years old at that time. I did receive a letter from the agency saying she was placed with a family ( ( Italian?) who had also adopted a boy.
