My name is Crystal Broughton and I was born Aug 1,1976 at the misericordia hosp? in the Bronx Ny. I received a letter from a Ms. Eunice Marsh from Brooklyn ny who told me that she was my foster mother from the time I was 3 months until I was 18 months old when I got adopted. Ms. Marsh also told me that my mother’s name is Diane Grover and that I have an older sister whos name is Trena. She stated that my mother has asthma and was sick when she had my sister who went to an agency for about 3 months then she got her back. When she had me I was 3 months old when I went into foster care due to her being sick. Ms. Eunice Marsh stated that MY brought my sister with her every time she came to see me. She stated that my birth mother told her that she was going to take me home soon and Ms. Marsh said when she was ready she would get all of my clothes together. Then my birth mother signed me over to be adopted. That day she signed me over when she got home she was rushed to the hospital Ms. Marsh said that my birth mother took it hard after signing me over. Ms. Marsh said that my birth mother told her that she lived on SIMPSON ST in the BRONX NY. Ms. Marsh took pics of my birth mother,my sister and I and sent them to me with the letter. It was so touching because I look JUST LIKE HER!!. I mean you would think it was me in the picture but its my birth mom. The two pic that I have are the only pics of me as a baby that YOUNG THAT I HAVE. I’m just trying to find my birth mother, sister and any family members that I have. I would like to know family medical history and also who and where I came from. I don’t know anything about my birth father because in the letter the only thing I know is Ms. Marsh stated that my birth mother said I looked like him.
