My wife was born in either Albany, NY or Troy, NY on 4/4/75. It was a closed adoption through Rensselaer County Social Services. At the time, her mother was 18 or 19 years old we do not believe the father knew of her pregnancy. Her mother wanted her to be placed in a Catholic family.
