I’m the daughter of an adoptee whose birth name was Margaret Gay Lanois. Her birth mother was Denise Lanois and she gave birth to my mother at St. Mary’s in Syracuse NY at the home for unwed mothers. We found her on ancestry‚ married and now called Denise Lanois Lewis‚ but sadly she did not want to meet us and did not give Information about the birth father‚ and that is who I am searching for now. He may have been a salesman‚ may have been from Canada or Colorado. He has another daughter close in age to my mom who was also adopted and does not have any information. My mom deserves to know her story. So far‚ it’s not been a good one.
