I was born January 11, 1970 in Middletown, New York. They way my mother’s name was spelled in paperwork that I have is Wideliunda. She was about 19 when I was born and spoke no english. The name I was given by her at my birth is Carmen Adelha Roman. When I was born She was a migrant farm worker. I was adopted at the age of 5 by my parents. They changed my name to Carmen Maleha Tucker. At this time she had 2 more siblings. She was supposed to go back to Puerto Rico, but we are unsure if she ever did. When children in New York are adopted thier records are sealed and can not even be unsealed by the child being adopted after reaching maturity. I have put my name on the adoption registry in New York but in order for me to locate any family member, they have to search for me on the registry too. I am looking for relatives and siblings for medical reasons. I would love to meet them and become friends and fill this "hole" I have in my identity. I would also like to know what medical issues (aside from the ones I already have) lay in my future. If anyone can help please P.M. me here on facebook. Thank you so much for you help.
