I was born 5/19/1959 in Cooperstown NY. My mother was college age in or around Albany NY. I believe she was sent to the Cooperstown area to give birth. I was named Katherine and my parents kept that name‚ and just added my middle name Ann. I was adopted at 6 weeks. My birth certificate was sealed. The clerk at the town hall was was "surprised "when she found the page‚ it was as if she had never seen such a securely sealed entry. I only know of the severity of the sealing because the clerk brought out the book out. I went because DMV wouldn't take the only birth certificate I have ever had‚ I wanted to be able to fly. I believe my mother's name may have been Margaret. I have always known I was adopted my parents told me what they knew... I would like to know more.
