I know that the last name of my biological father was Dorfman and he and his girlfriend (my biological mother) were of Jewish ancestry and from Brooklyn. I know I was adopted within a week of my birth on April 7 1964 because my adopted parents were present at my circumcision which must take place on the 8th day. I am 53 years old now and am a Bible teacher. I would like to get some long standing questions about where I came from and am particularly interested in finding out if I am a Cohen or a Biblical Levite, as well as if some of my talents are genetic or just come from my environment. It would be nice to, especially since my father has passed since 2003, to see if either my biological parents are still alive and if not them, then perhaps their extended family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
