I am searching for my fathers sister. Her birth name was Brenda Lovett but it was changed with adoption. They lived in Newburgh NY in the early to mid 1940s. They were taking away from their mother and giving to their dad wo got remarried. Eventually the courts two my dad and his sister away from the dad and step mom as wekk and put them in forster care. Brenda was around two and my father James Lovett was 4. Brenda was adopted within a year or two but my dad spent th rest of his childhood in foster care. He always wanted to see his sister again. Apparently they ran into each otehr unknowingly once in high school but then she disappeared. I was to help my dad find his sister before he dies. He is 77 years old and he always wanted to find his family.
