I was always told that my grandmother was adopted. That the woman that found her in a New York dumpster was not her biological mother. My grandmother’s name was Gloria Baker, that’s the name on her birth certificate. Her biological parents on the birth certificate are listed as Bella Wilson and Phipp Baker. Supposedly she has 2 older siblings. Donald Baker and Maris Baker. We were told that the woman who raised my grandmother, her name was Jenny and that’s all we know. But I get confused as to how she would have a proper birth certificate if she was found in a dumpster. Jenny and Bella are no where near the same names. I have an ancestry account, however it has been unable to locate any dna relationships to the biological family. If anyone can help in any way it would be much appreciated.
