I am trying to locate birth parents and either full or half siblings. I am 74years old and was given the birth name of Elizabeth Mary Goodman. I was told that I was adopted at 3 days old when my adopted mother‚ Arline Peterson‚ picked me up from a transition home in Brooklyn‚ NY. I was also told that my birth mother may have been in her early 20s when she gave birth to me. My maternal grandfather‚ Henry Peterson‚ is said to have arranged this adoption via a lawyer and doctor who worked together when pregnant woman chose adoption for her baby. I was told that my maternal birth grandfather was a doctor. I have adoption papers issued from the law office of Samuel Baranow located in Long Island‚ New York. My original record are sealed in Mineola‚ NY and I do not have legal access to them.
