Looking for my great-grandfather’s family. John Johnson was born 1856/1857 probably in KY. He married Mary L."Mollie" Stone. They moved to AR and raised a family. My grandfather was born 1884 in Cheatham‚ Sevier‚ AR. He had a sister named Lucy Belle Johnson [abt 1871] and she married Nathaniel Ethan Wilkins in Polk Co.‚ AR. Believe John’s folks were born in TN and MS and believe John’s folks lived in Polk Co.‚ AR at least in 1886 whe Lucy and Nathan married. There is a census record for 1880 for Polk Co.‚ AR‚ that has a family named Johnsen with a daughter Lucy who is the right age. This could be them. That would make John Johnson’s dad’s name as John also.
