My name is Mona-Lisa Coleman. I believe my birth name was Mona Jerogsen (not sure if that is spelled correctly). My mother was of Icelandic and Danish decent, born in 1929. She had 1 sister and 2 brothers, 1 that committed suicide when he was 30 and the other was 25 in the military when I was born. Her sister was 39 when I was born, she had a 14 yo son. He lived with my mother an her parent . It is suggested that she had a ’Nervous breakdown" after a divorce. Her father was 64 when I was born, he was a super in the building where they lived, including my mother. Her mother was not physically well and was 66 when I was born. My father was of Cuban. He and my mother had a casual relationship. He knew she was pregnant but left shortly after finding that out, left , moved. He was a musician. I was born in Lennox Hill Hospital on 08/28/1967 at 6:27 AM. I was admitted to Spence-Chapin Adoption agency on September 5th 1967. and was adopted on April 27th 1971, by Harry and Genevea Coleman.
