I am searching for my biological father. My name is Andrew Kostka. I was adopted at birth in 1951. I was born July 21st‚ 1951 in NYC. This was a prearranged and private adoption. I have found my maternal family. My birth mother name was Julia Pompeo. She was born in PA but lived in Bronx‚ NY & Manhattan from about 1946 to 1980 when she married Jim Vernaglia and moved to FL. My biological father is said to have been 34 yrs old when I was born. He worked as a soda fountain clerk. This may have been at a Walgreen’s at 2081 Broadway‚ Manhattan‚ NYC.
