I am searching for my daughter who was born on May 25, 1969 in the Bronx, New York at Misericordia Hospital. My biological daughter will be 50 yrs. and born as Christa Marie. At the time of the birth, I was 18 yrs old. The adoption was handled by Catholic Charities in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. As far as I know the adoption took place in Nassau County, Long Island and the adoptive parents lived on Long Island. My daughter was born pre-mature and born small so she stayed in the hospital in the Bronx for several weeks after birth. I saw my daughter once in a foster home on Long Island before I signed the adoption papers. I was struggling with the decision but at that time I had no way to raise my child and it was a taboo situation in those days. Please contact me.
