I believe that I was born in Yonkers General Hospital to Mary Emma Barnes. I was never given my birth father’s name. My birthmother may have been born in Virginia‚ and the oldest of her siblings. I believe she was 18 years old at the time of my birth. I was adopted through an agency in White Plains‚ New York. I may have been 10 years old when the adoption was finalized. I apparently lived with an elderly couple for the first 10 months.
