I was adopted when I was around 5 months old or so. I was born at Community General Hospital, in Syracuse, New York., January 19th, 1962. My birth mother named me before I was adopted out, because she wanted me to be baptized at Saint Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse, New York. My adopted mom told me my name was Linda Mathews, before she and my adopted father adopted me. My adopted parents were Carl and Eleanor Jolivette. They named me Suzanne Lee Jolivette. My adopted mother, Eleanor, told me that my biological mother and father loved each other very much, (and me) but were not married. She is of Italian descent, and my father, Irish/Scottish and Dutch/German. Eleanor also told me that my bio. mother had worked as a legal secretary back then. My adopted mother said that my biological parents loved each other, and me, and wanted to make sure that I was baptized, with hopes for me to have a good, happy life. I have thought about my biological parents/family my whole life, and hope it is not too late to pursue my search. Thank you. Suzanne Lee Roller (ps - I was adopted out of Catholic Charities)
