I’m searching for Albert Clarence Wester‚ Jr.‚ born in 1922‚ supposedly in Utica or Oneida County‚ New York. His adoptive parents’ names were Albert Clarence Wester‚ Sr. and Rachel Smith Wester. Mr. Wester‚ Sr. immigrated with his family from Oldeboorn in the Netherlands in 1890 and was one of 13 children born to Klaas Westerterp and Gertrude Speerstra Westerterp. Klaas and Gertrude settled in New York Mills‚ NY. A sister to Mr. Wester‚ Sr. - Helen Wester Sheldon was the last surviving child born to Klaas and Gertrude. She was told that Albert‚ Jr. was adopted but didn’t know anything about his birth parents. She is now deceased as is Albert Wester‚ Jr. whom this inquiry is about.
