I know that I was adopted through Catholic Charities in Syracuse, N.Y. in 1967. My birth name is David John Fitzsimmons. My current name is Gerald Tracey Bender. I was adopted by Arthur Wilson Bender Sr., and Dorothy Bender...maiden name Fedora. I currently live in Florida. I have been empty my entire life not knowing who I am. My adopted father passed from cancer in 1987. My adopted mother just recently passed in February 2017 from Alzheimer’s. I never searched out of respect, but always told myself that I would search after their passing. The time has come. I desperately need to know who I am before I draw my last breath on this crazy planet. I hope you’re out there mom, dad, somebody, searching for me.
