I am the daughter of an adopted child‚ who passed away about ten years ago. His adoptive name was Timothy John Lynch and he was adopted by Warren and Helen Lynch of Hamlin‚ NY in 1945. His birthdate was February 7‚ 1945. I believe his birth name was Allan Michael Kelley (not sure of spellings on that as I do not have a copy of his adoption papers with me herethey are in my mother's house). He was the third of five children to be adopted by the same couple. I believe the adoption was arranged by Catholic Charities in the Rochester/Syracuse area. To my knowledge‚ and as per my mother‚ we do not believe that my father ever tried to reach out to his birth family in the past. My father died on December 30‚ 1996 due to a succession of heart attacks within an afternoon. There were other health issues as well‚ and I am curious about how we could go about funding out information on his family to see the medical history. Timothy had three children‚ including myself‚ and I believe at this time we are mostly concerned about the health issues and medical history that we might be able to find out about through our research.
