I have a full blooded biological sister who very likely does not know I exist. My parents got pregnant at a young age (18 years old). They decided to give the baby up for adoption‚ through Catholic Family Center in Syracuse‚ New York. The baby was given the name Julia Ann Leary. My mother used the fictitious name‚ Sandra Leary. Julia Ann was born on July 11‚ 1969 at approx. 11:15 pm in Saint Mary’s Hospital‚ Syracuse‚ New York. This was a closed adoption. It is possible‚ Julia Ann doesn’t even know she is adopted. Still‚ I have known about her for some time and I feel it’s my duty to at least try to find her. I have thought long an hard about the pro’s and con’s of trying to locate her. Today‚ I am taking the first step to try.
