I think I was born at Good Samaritan in Islip‚ NY‚ Suffolk County. My birth certificate shows that it was filed locally on 12-29-1970 and filed with the state of NY Dept. of Health on 01-22-1971. The adoption was thru Suffolk County Dept. of Social Services in Bayshore‚ NY. I was told my biological mother was young and stayed in an unwed mothers home. It was thought her first name was Susan and that she had named me or wanted to name me Vanessa after her best friend.
