I was born Brenda Carol Wiles AKA Linda Jean Gibbons. I know, from information garnered from NY, that my birth mother was from Erie, PA, and that she had been married in Erie, PA, had a child and then divorced. She left her child with her parents and moved to Buffalo, NY, where she met a man in a bar who, unbeknownst to her, was married with six children. He did not respond to any correspondence from my birth mother regarding my birth. Hence, I was placed for adoption upon my birth. I was in foster care until I was 18 months old.
